שפּראַך און סטיל פֿון דרײַ ייִדישע קלאַסיקער

A study by Elye Spivak on the language and style of the three "classic" Yiddish writers, in three parts. Parts one and two are in typed manuscript form and on Mendele and Peretz respectively. Part three, on Sholem Aleichem, was published in 1940 but is here presented with Spivak's handwritten amendments, corrections and comments. He worked on this until 1949, a year before his death. Prefaced with an abstract in Russian and a forward by S. Drugabitske-Spivak.
