This site was created by Raphi Halff. While collecting materials he often wondered, "What a shame I am doing this, spending hours photographing, annotating, organizing all these documents, when surely someone has done it all before—and probably better than I have! My life is just a echo of another. Less original and less resonant than those before me. Oh, Sisyphus! But let us at least relieve our fellow humans of this dreadful curse. Let us spare them from this most depressing thought. Let us share and care like we did as youngsters with blocks, marbles, jacks, and balls!"
